APLF 2026 – Muno’s Exhibition in China

From March 12th to 14th, Muno took part in APLF in Hong Kong, one of the most important international events for the leather industry and a key meeting point for professionals from across the global market.

Over three intense and inspiring days, our team welcomed visitors from all over the world to a vibrant and dynamic stand. The fair provided the perfect setting for meaningful conversations, the exchange of ideas, and the creation of new connections with partners, clients, and industry professionals.

APLF proved to be a valuable opportunity to strengthen existing relationships while exploring new collaborations. The strong interest shown in our solutions and the enthusiasm of the people who visited our booth made this experience particularly rewarding for our team.

Our presence in Hong Kong also represents an important step in Muno’s international growth strategy. Being part of APLF allowed us to further strengthen our visibility in the Asian market, engage with key industry players, and continue laying the foundations for Muno’s expansion in China.

Strengthening Muno Presence in India: New Application Laboratories in Kolkata and Kanpur

As part of Muno strategic expansion in India, we inaugurated a new application laboratory in Kolkata, located in one of the country’s most historic leather districts. The facility establishes a permanent local base to provide technical service, application development, and direct support to customers and partners.

The laboratory was inaugurated by Ramesh Kumar Juneja, Chairman of the Council for Leather Exports (CLE). His presence represented a distinguished recognition of our commitment to the Indian leather sector and highlighted the importance of collaboration between industry leaders and local institutions in fostering innovation, technical excellence, and sustainable growth.

In addition, we opened a second application laboratory in Kanpur (KLC, Banthar), within one of India’s key leather manufacturing clusters. The inauguration ceremony was attended by company representatives and local industry stakeholders, further strengthening our technical footprint and service capabilities in North India. The presence of Rajendra Jalan, Mukhtarul Amin, and Asad K Iraqi, who officially inaugurated the facility, underscored the value of close cooperation between companies and local institutions in supporting the sector’s innovation, efficiency, and sustainable development.

India represents a core strategic market for us, supported by a strong manufacturing base and an increasingly influential role in global leather supply chains. Through these investments, we aim to operate closer to our customers, respond more effectively to technical and market needs, and contribute to the competitiveness and long-term sustainability of Indian tanneries and leather manufacturers.

Together with the production plant in Kanchipuram, these initiatives reinforce our structured and long-term presence in India — combining international expertise with strong local capabilities to deliver reliable, consistent, and value-driven solutions.

Muno Debuted in India at IILF

MUNO Debuted in India at IILF: A Strategic Step Forward

Muno's first exhibition in India marked a significant milestone in the company's international expansion journey.

Over three dynamic days in Chennai, the booth became a vibrant hub for meaningful dialogue — where technical expertise met applied innovation and forward-looking industry insight.

Engagement was strong and consistent. Conversations were substantive, and the interest in our solutions was both genuine and encouraging.

The Indian leather industry responded enthusiastically to our commitment to developing low-impact products and services designed to help shape a leaner, smarter, and bolder future for the sector.

Now, a month on from Chennai, the energy and connections built at IILF continue to resonate, confirming that this debut was the beginning of an exciting new chapter built on collaboration, local presence, and long-term commitment to the Indian market.

Building on the success of our debut in India, MUNO will be exhibiting at the APLF trade fair in Hong Kong, March 12-14: another key step in our growing international presence.
